This game is a blast! Only takes about one round which is about 20 minutes for everyone to learn how to play. From there it is a lot of fun trying to trick people by bluffing or getting them to call you when you are truthful!!! Well worth the money. Fun game to play for 20 minutes or two hours. This is a good game for small social groups. More the people, the better it gets.My family loves card games. This one seems a little pointless to me but my strategy loving teenage son and his friends play it constantly and love it! He takes it in his backpack to school- they play it whenever they have down time. (He is an Engineering major at a Stem Academy so his brain works diff than mine HaHa) Reminiscent of the game BS we used to play with a deck of cards- all about deception. It is a great game. My box came in a little warped or damaged. Otherwise great game. This game was a hit with all of my friends, and it is the one they ask to play first. It is my favorite game. It is compact and easy to transport. It is simple yet complex enough for great replayability. No two games are the same.My kids LOVE this game!!! Playing it every night and we have a mix of ages. Great game to take on vacation !!This game is funIt's a fun, entertaining game. My friend past away last year and he played this game with his family. The family had brought it out for the group of friends that came to the wake, and we played for absolute hours while reminiscing about old stories. 100% recommended purchasing.I bought this as a present, not sure as I found it boring, the family enjoyed it for a few plays then stopped playing it. But our daughter plays this at a board games club and likes it. *shrugs* I think it might be one of those that you need add on packs for. I just get what they ask for. I would only buy this for enthusiastic game players who have heard of it. At least it is small if you need to post it.I bought this along with a few other board games to play at my cousin's over Christmas. This one was the quickest to set up and easiest to learn. There are very few pieces (deck of cards + coins) and within 5-10 minutes of opening the pack everyone is able to understand how to play it. The quality of the product is amazing. I really liked the art style of the cards themselves as well as the coins. Although my fibbing skills weren't the best, I still had a great time playing this. Definitely pick this game up if you're in the market for a new card game to play with your family and friends.Coup (pronounced “Coo”) is the ultimate game of bluffing and you’ll need to practice your poker face! This is a fantastic (really quick) game for the family or with friends. We play this game with friends (usually 4-6 people), but I imagine teens and younger could pick it up.It’s really easy to get the hang of and I’d thoroughly recommend adding it to your game collection. It’s actually a small packet too so could be put in your suitcase if you’re going away on holiday.A card game set in the Resistance background. Like Resistance this is a bluff/deception game, with a slightly different slant. This game is largely a lot of fun, the different cards introduce a good range of different strategies in the early and mid game. But it does have a significant weakness, namely in the late game, once you get down to two players remaining. The outcome is largely a foregone conclusion as it will be obvious what cards remain in play and it far too often devolves into a straight race to the finish with each player picking up a flat income each turn and the first to reach seven the winner. This means you can almost always call the winner as soon as it reaches two players which takes a lot of the fun out of it.I usually like to start a gaming evening with a few short games before playing anything that's going to last a few hours. This is a great little micro-game that's quick to teach but takes a few rounds to master for anyone who is new to it. Until you know what each character can do as a counter-action you may be at a slight disadvantage in your bluffing ability. But, it's still fun and unpredictable enough that a beginner can come out on top with a bit of luck.
