If you are looking for a quality product to store your cards look no further. REAL WOOD, yes folks this box has real wood. It is beautifully stained and appears to be hand crafted with pride. None of that China mass assembly stuff here. I love the box and plan on buying 3 more in the future. It is a wonderful and 10 fold upgrade to a shoebox. I believe this box will survive generations of use. About a year ago I was the victim of a traumatic event. I suffer from PTSD, depression and numerous anxiety disorders now. I am disabled from this and needed to find some hobbies that I could afford on my limited disability checks. I am building a non-sport collection of collector trading cards as a hobby and love it. I meticulously sleeve, topload, and finish with a protective re-sealable sleeve to protect the toploaders. I don't want to skimp after finding the cards and taking so much time and energy to protect my growing collection. Despite the cost of this box I decided to take the plunge and I am very happy I did. I hope to hand down my collection to a not yet conceived grandchild when they are old enough to appreciate them and the hard work I am putting into my hobby. Yes, its a bit pricy but how does the saying go, you get what you pay for. I normally don't do reviews but I wanted to give this product and the manufacturer a much deserved thumbs up.The case was mostly as pictured. It didn't look as nice as the pics, but it was decent. My frustrations are the following:1. As others have stated, the locks don't work. The keys fit, but they just turn 360 degrees and the locks never extend.2. Construction seems a bit on the amatuer side. Lock screws are crookedly installed. Wood stain is uneven.3. The bottom panel is just plywood and isn't stained. This isn't an issue when sitting on a counter, but when carrying the case with the handle, it's just another side of the case and looks bad.I don't this this is worth the money being charged.Is a nice quality box that comes with locks on either side and not in center as pictured on web site. As with previous purchases with this company the locks do not work, but they still make great storage cases for the cards. I like them for looks, ease of storage and mobility. But if you are looking for security, forget that straight up.Recently I rediscovered my childhood interest in football/baseball card collecting. I now focus my collecting on graded cards of up and coming stars. I have been looking for proper storage of these valuable cards and this is by far the best most affordable and quality option I have found for this specific purpose. Upon arrival and inspection I could see it was well made and I also love the beautiful cherry stain. Order fulfillment and shipping was very fast and I was quite pleased with that. Also came with a carrying handle to attach which was a plus. With the lack of other quality options and the quality of this case I would recommend. Thanks!Other than the lid being slightly unaligned it's very good quality a reasonable price.It comes exactly as advertised and serves it's purpose well.Worth the money.Overall good. Mine didn't come with the keys but they sent me some. Locks are hard to unlock and are a cheaper quality.2nd one purchased and we like the caseWas unhappy to find that the bottom of this storage case is unfinished. The first thing I got when I removed it from the box was a splinter. Would be great if all sides were done.
